At S4 Energy, you will be part of a close-knit team of three, working alongside the CFO and the Financial Controller as our new Financial Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring the accurate processing of financial data. You will also support monthly and annual financial closings and contribute to optimizing our administrative processes, contributing to the company's financial health.


Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing and processing payments and bank transactions
• Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting monthly and annual financial closings
• Assisting with VAT filings and compliance with financial regulations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and the general ledger
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments

Qualifications & Skills‍

• Advanced vocational diploma (MBO+ level) or a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS & Dutch GAAP)
• Proficiency in financial software (Exact Online and RidderIQ preferred) and Microsoft Office, Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
• High level of integrity and alignment with S4 Energy’s core values: ownership, reliability, and sustainability
