In this new role you support the executive team on strategic initiatives, communications, operations, and growth.

What you will do

In this versatile role, you are the right hand of the executive team. You'll attend management team meetings and act as a strategic sparring partner who thinks along, gives direction, and implements chosen directions and decisions.

All colleagues know how to find you when they have questions. You manage everything at the office, you embody S4-Energy, and you enthusiastically represent what we stand for as an organization. This way, you also know how to attract the right people to achieve our growth ambitions. We have already laid out the broad lines on the HR front, and we ask you to build on this. Thus, you are responsible for our entire HR policy, both strategically and operationally.

The position of Strategic assistant is new, and we invite you to further shape the role yourself. Proactively think about what we need as an organization but also initiate projects that make you very happy. We have already outlined some specs for you:

• You prepare and facilitate strategic discussions of the executive team and carry out these projects.

• Assist the CEO in developing, implementing, and communicating short and long-term strategies, aligning with the company’s overall vision and objectives.

• Manage and oversee organizational and administrative activities, communications, OKR tracking, change management initiatives, and special projects.

• You ensure a working environment where everyone can grow and enjoys coming to the office; you safeguard our company culture as its very essence.

• Maintaining our HR system and the associated administration, sickness and leave, HR policies, with support in administrative areas so you can focus on what really matters.

• Improvement projects in the area of People & Culture. The foundation has been laid, and now it's up to you to take it to the next level.

This is you

You:

• feel at home in a dynamic, sometimes somewhat chaotic, scale-up culture and you are energized by an organization in growth. Experience working in fast paced environments where business needs are perpetually evolving.

• prefer to work for an organization at the forefront of the energy transition.

• proven experience in planning, leading, and delivering on strategic initiatives with measurable business impact in a startup or small team (10-50) setting.

• world-class communication and presentation skills; ability to create clear, concise presentations laying out researched and strategic findings across a broad range of audiences via multiple mediums.

• strategic thinker with a successful track record of leading complex projects; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• can easily switch between strategic thinking and operational acting.

• are proactive, self-starting and rolling out (and completing) new projects is your thing.

• people feel comfortable in your presence and you naturally have the ability to connect and motivate people.

• speak and write fluently in Dutch and English.

• a competitive salary depending on knowledge and experience. Indication is around € 4000,- per month based on a fulltime employment.
