As a Financial Analyst, your role involves analyzing and interpreting financial data to provide valuable insights to various business units of S4 Energy, investors, and other stakeholders. These insights assist in decision-making related to investments, financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing business data to create reports. Additionally, you will be involved in project
  development, where financial models for business cases are created and maintained.
• Assisting in the setup of various reporting tools.
• Identifying and evaluating financial risks and opportunities for an organisation.
• Assessing the performance of the organisation's operational assets.
• Evaluating the value of investments, projects, or companies
• Conducting industry and market research to understand trends and opportunities that may
  impact financial performance.
• Formulating recommendations based on financial analyses.

Qualifications:

For the role of Financial Analyst, S4 Energy is seeking an ambitious and proactive individual. Additionally, you should be results-oriented and meet the following qualifications:

• An academic level of thinking and working or a completed university degree in a relevant
  field, such as Business Economics.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance trainee, or a similar role.
• Experience with business intelligence tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex financial issues.
• Capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Affinity with sustainable energy technologies, legislation, and trends in the energy transition.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
